The Legend of Paddy O'Fegan
Our story begins in the olde country in County Galway in the 12th century. Padraic O' Fegan was renowned for his charity and hospitality. Traveler and tennant, commoner and king, all were welcome in Paddy's home. As his family grew, they branched out into Kilkenny and Tipperary. All the family and descendants carried on the tradition of providing culinary delights, plentiful drink and sparkling conversation in a warm and inviting atmosphere. The family eventually made their way to the United States, and to Chicago, where Padraic's great-great-great-great-great-great-grandson, Paddy, founded a pub, a comfortable spot where friends and neighbors can meet and Enjoy the Craic!
